The compact MACC-plus is a high precision current measuring system based on the Zero-Flux principle to be used at currents up to 600A. This system has a current output with ratio of 1000 to 1.
For a voltage output, a burden/precision amplifier module is added. It is far more accurate than conventional measuring systems using shunts or Hall effect systems.
The bipolar MACC-plus is mainly used as current feed-back element in power supplies or as a replacement for resistive shunts
It is widely applied in nuclear research projects, High Energy Physics experiments, applied scientific research and medical applications.
